Presidential Race

By Adonal Foyle

As I've said before, we're in the middle of a very important time in American history. We have a tight race between a woman candidate and an African-American candidate and all of the candidates have been sticking to the issues - and not attacking eachother. When you look at someone like Mitt Romney, who spent $35 million of his own money - only to eventually drop out of the race - clearly, the American people are saying 'Look, we can make up our own mind. We know what we should believe and nobody is going to push anything down our throats.' And you have to be encouraged by that.

And as I said before, the candidates are focusing on the issues. And that means something. Because after all that we have gone through over the past eight years, I think more and more, you have to be quite clear as to what policies are going to be initiated and adopted. People have the right to ask a lot of the hard questions. And the candidates have the right to explain them to the fullest of their ability. So, I'm very happy that we're having more detailed arguments about the issues - and not the B.S.
