Here are your November questions for Adonal...

Lori in Utica asks...
What are "cook-up boiling" and "soca dance?"
[Adonal] "Cook-up boiling," also known as the "poor man's food," is a broth (soup) made up of whatever is available in the kitchen. And "Soca dance" is a type of Caribbean music that is faster than reggae and calypso, with lyrics depicting scenes from everyday island life.

Justus in Vallejo asks...
What do you do in preparation before the game?
[Adonal]I eat a big bowl of pasta, take a twenty minute power nap, and then play some Caribbean music.

Robert in DC asks...
Are you a part of any economic revitalization programs in your native homeland (Canouan/Union Island)?
[Adonal] I am involved in the island debates, however I am not doing anything more specific at this moment.

2. What was the most difficult thing to adapt to once you set foot in the United States?
[Adonal] The most difficult thing for me to get used to in America was the freezing cold weather of the east coast!

Garrett in San Francisco asks...
1. I've been following the NBA for 30 years and the Warriors for 8 years, it seems to me that the coach's [Dave Cowens] substitution patterns are based purely on minutes and have nothing to do with the flow of the game. Sometimes players play long stretches with no impact and other players come in, have impact, and get yanked after several minutes of good play. Do the players think Cowens really has a good feel for the game?
[Adonal] I guess this question doesn't apply anymore, and I can't speak for any of the other players, but I believe that Cowens was entitled to his own philosophy of coaching, even though the implementation of his tactics may not have been proactive enough.

2. Is Mark Jackson not playing because he's out of shape or because the management doesn't want to play him because they are going to trade him?
[Adonal] I think the management might be trading him.

Donald in San Francisco asks...
I was surprized to hear that Dave Cowens was fired. I was wondering if you had any comments? I thought Cowens was a fairly good coach but I guess things sometimes do not go well.
[Adonal] Dave is a good guy, and I wish him well in his future endeavors.
